Reverbaratory Furnace

AXIS REVERBARATORY FURNACE are used primarily for melting copper and its alloys such as bronze and brass, and other metals like aluminum, lead and zinc. The furnace is supplied with refractory lining tilting arrangement, and conventional/compact combustion system.

The furnace is constructed from reinforced mild steel plates of substantial thickness and is supported on a heavy fabricated stand suitable for gear/motor tilting, hydraulic with power pack tilting system — all are user selection. The gear drive consists of two cylinders at both ends that get tilted with power pack and directional valve.

The furnace can be fitted with Axis’s fuel efficient conventional/compact combustion system for the fuels like HSD, LDO, LSHS, Fuel Oil, PG, NG, LNG, CNG, and LPG. The burner is designed to fire tangentially from the shell to the pouring axis. Waste gases pass through the chimney on top, which can serve as a charging door — ultimately serving to preheat solid scrap. A Furnace Extraction unit can be offered as an optional accessory.
